The ECC handles communications across a wide range of media, including telephones, radios, SMS, and automated alarm and notification systems. We facilitate collaboration among all field responder agencies serving the Charlottesville/Albemarle area and many agencies serving neighboring localities. The visualizations below are intended to provide insight into some of the work the ECC helps facilitate in the community, as well as into some of our performance metrics compared to industry standards and best practices.
