Community Feedback Encouraged for CUAECC’s CALEA Accreditation Process

Charlottesville, VA – Successful accreditation through the Commission on Accreditation for Law Enforcement Agencies, Inc. (CALEA) has been an established accomplishment of the Charlottesville-UVA-Albemarle County Emergency Communications Center (CUAECC) since 2006. The ECC is in continual pursuit of improvement in communication, operational efficiency, and support for our coworkers, our community, and our responders.

As part of the structured assessment process, community members are encouraged to provide commentary and feedback regarding the ECC’s commitment to CALEA Accreditation. The agency-specific commentary portal is provided by CALEA and may be accessed at https://cimrs2.calea.org/48 or through the ECC’s website at https://cua911.gov/about/#CALEA. This commentary portal is for information specific to CALEA Accreditation only; CALEA is not an investigatory body. Please use the Feedback form on the ECC’s website to submit any comments not associated with accreditation.
